On July 26, citizens of Skopje and visitors will have the chance to witness traditional and cultural handicrafts made from the women of North East region of the country and those from South East region of the neighbouring country Kosovo being exposed at City Trade Center (Gradski Trgovski Centar). The fair is part of activities of the cross-border project “Promotion of tradition, cultural and national handicrafts”; funded by the European Union.
Colourful and traditional masterpieces of handicraft are gathering in the heart of the city, in order to promote traditional values and handicrafts.
More than 100 businesses from Kumanovo region in Republic of North Macedonia and Gjilan region in Republic of Kosovo will take part in the fair by exposing their crafts and products.
As a mix of various motives and colours, the visitors will be able to see that despite the differences there are still more aspects connecting us than differentiating from one another. On the other hand, the fair will also serve as a networking event between the handicraft businesses in order to gain inspiration and share common interests.
The fair is open and free to visit, so citizens and visitors come and check us out for a wonderful journey through tradition merged in handicrafts.
